Rachel McDowell is a British, Surrey-based designer.

Growing up she has always found a fascination for the evolution of the world around her and the stories that spaces tell through their details. Later choosing to study beyond the boundaries of space into the non-space, a neologism that was invented by French Anthropologist Marc Augé.

 

Combining this with her love of sci-fi she grew an interest in 'Retro-futurism' and 'CyberPunk' which is reflected in some projects. Her fascination with stories also allows another level of understanding with clients, digging deep into how they want their own stories to be translated into a space or art form tailored to them.

• Skilled in a multitude of software including Photoshop, Sketchup, VectorWorks, AutoCad, Twin Motion and Microsoft.

• Experience in multiple drawing media, from traditional to digital, with a predilection for three-dimensional visualization. ​
